Waverly Cabinet Company prides itself on designing and building fine custom cabinetry, built exclusively for each client. We distinguish our cabinets from others by using various species of hardwoods and constructing our cabinet boxes from veneer core plywood. It’s a standard within our cabinetry construction…….no up charges or modification fees. As a practice, we do not use any "particle board", "melamine", "furniture core", or "engineered" woods in building your cabinets.

Beautiful hardwoods, such as hickory, oak, cherry, or maple, are used. If you have a specific wood species in mind, we’ll build with it based on lumber availability. Species such as mahogany, curly maple, ash or pine can be utilized in your project as well. We’ve even built furniture using a sentimental tree that fell during a storm, was kiln dried, and now is a masterpiece in a client’s home.

Waverly Cabinet Company is not a factory; we are a custom cabinetry shop that builds fine cabinets and furniture to your specifications. We build our cabinets in as large of sections as possible, and you’re not limited to cabinet sizes in 3" increments. We also maintain high standards when it comes to efficient use of space. Our angled cabinets are built without the use of fillers or wasted space.

Style is the Main Attraction

A wide selection of door styles is available including the popular arch, cathedral, square panel, and shaker door styles. We’ll also customize your doors to fit your style using a double crown, roof peak, bead board, glass mullion, or virtually any design you have in mind. Cabinets can be built with full overlay doors all the way to a fully recessed door, again to meet your style.

Beautiful Colors and Finishes

Our clients decide the color of their custom cabinetry. We have several stains and colors from which to choose, or we’ll color match to your liking as close as possible. That way, if Grandma’s antique armoire is close by, we’ll do our best to accommodate the color. And, our stains are wiped on and hand rubbed before the lacquer application.

Our lacquer is a two part catalyzed conversion varnish, and is offered in gloss, semi-gloss, satin, or dull.

Some of our most popular accessories are pull out trash and recycling centers, roll out utility trays, sink tip out trays, built in spice racks, cookie sheet dividers, and more. Fine Cabinetry Construction

Waverly Cabinet Company strives to achieve excellence in our design and construction of cabinetry. As a practice, there’s no short cuts or cutting corners in our cabinets. We build your cabinetry as if it were going into our own homes or offices.

Our cabinets are unlike many others in the industry because we take the extra steps to make our client’s cabinetry unique. As an example, we finish the tops and bottoms of our wall cabinets for both aesthetics and so that cleaning and dusting are easier. Where possible, we flush trim our face frames on all finished cabinet ends with our signature round or beveled edge for a distinctive touch.

We cut and dado all cabinet parts together to fit like a puzzle. Each cabinet member holds the other cabinet members in place. Our plywood cabinet interiors have a natural maple finish for a brighter look inside. We also recess our metal shelf standards for complete adjustability from bottom to top.

Waverly Cabinet builds drawers out of solid maple with plywood bottoms for strength and durability. Our roll trays are also adjustable, if you like. And we add a little bit of flair to our roll trays with your choice of a curved handle or a scooped tray.

"Standard" drawer slides are anything but standard. We’ll recommend our favorite slides, and show you some specialty ones for different applications.

And, we have a wide variety of hinges and hardware from which to choose. You’re not limited by what we keep in inventory or on a selection board. We have various sources to purchase hardware, and we’ll keep looking until we find what you’re looking for.

Custom cabinetry is affordable and we want to work with you to design your cabinetry to meet your needs and style. We’ll take a look at your overall plans and designs for use of your new cabinetry. Then, we’ll listen to what you want and try to provide solutions for any storage or design problems that may be evident.

Then, keeping your thoughts and desires in mind, we’ll propose cabinetry that’s right for you, and cabinetry that fits within the spacing allowances you have.
